Fee pages

Information you enter on a fee page (address, rent, fees, utilities, notes and the public contact you choose) is published on a public web page. Do not enter anything you do not want public. We store a one-way hash of your edit key, the dates you published or changed the page, and a daily page view count.

Forms

Messages from the contact form are used to answer you. Lawyer review requests are shared with an Illinois attorney only when you tick the consent box on that form.

Email updates

If you subscribe to updates, we keep your email address and the role you chose, and use them only to email you about changes to Illinois rental fee rules. Ask us through the contact page to unsubscribe and delete it.

Embedded fee tables

When a landlord embeds a fee table on their own website, your browser loads it from this site. We do not set cookies or track visitors through the embed.

Technical data

To prevent abuse we keep a salted, daily-rotating hash of your IP address next to pages you create and forms you send. We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes requests to deliver the site.

Removal

Delete your fee page at any time with your edit link, or ask us to remove it or any message you sent.
